their thinking, their behaviour, the feeling of living and finding my way in such a big city, to work and spend time
with different people and much more. So I really did great experiences during my time here and I learned a lot.

| Now, at the end of my stay, I feel sad. I will miss so many people from all over the world, my children, street noodles, etc.
I think I developed in this 3 months like I never would be able to at home... This project was exactly the experience I needed
and I will surely come back... |

been the richest and most rewarding experience of my life. Everybody inside and outside the school is very kind and
helpful. Moreover speaking Chinese is giving me the opportunity of meeting a lot of Chinese people wherever I go. |

| There were the cornflakes in the picture and
some pupils did not know them. I then decided to have a Western breakfast the next morning. The French Carrefour store was close
to our flat. I got a box of cornflakes, simple bowls, toast, butter etc. The following morning we moved some tables together
and pretended to be at the breakfast table. |

| This is definitely the best way to learn more about a country - by getting in touch with people. I have many unforgettable
stories here I share with other volunteers, students or teachers. For some students I became a very important person in their
lives. |

| Working as a volunteer teacher at Bibo Experimental Primary School in SuZhou was a fabulous experience.
It was rewarding in many different ways...
China is a very interesting and beautiful country with such kind people.
Everywhere we met young people who wanted to practice English.
I decided to return to China to work as a volunteer teacher of English.

| The welcome I received at Yangtzi high school was fantastic; the students were very
friendly and seemed really excited. My supervisor at the school was Jenny, who showed
me the stunning flat the school provided for me during my stay. It had a double-bed, my
own kitchen, living-room, television, computer and a massive garden with a pond, bridges
and a pagoda in it! |

| If you asked me to describe my volunteer experience in one word, I would, without a doubt,
say “unforgettable.” ...in the end, I think I learned the most out of the thousands of students I had the pleasure
of interacting with. I don't regret spending my summer volunteering
in Mianyang at all. It was one of the most memorable, worthwhile, and invaluable experiences I think I will ever have. |
