Airport Warning on Lithium Batteries

New Lithium Battery Rules: To help reduce the risk of fires, air travelers will no longer be able to pack loose lithium batteries in checked luggage. Passengers can only bring the Lithium battery with you in the handbag. Such belongings as cell phone, watch, laptop, calculator, digital camera, DV are allowed to be in your handbag. If packed in plastic bags, batteries may be in carry-on baggage. The limit is two batteries per passenger. If a lithium battery is found in your checked bags, your luggage will be given back to you. So the CAAC warned people to pay attention to these new rules to avoid needless trouble. The CAAC said this is a security issue according to the OACI rules.

Choosing the Correct Terminal at Pudong International Airport

Before departing for Shanghai Pu Dong International airport, be sure to know which of the two terminals your airline/flight departs from. Airlines for the two terminals are listed below. By bus to Pudong Airport, you can depart at either terminal. By the magnetic suspension (MagLev) train through the corridor, you can reach the both terminals from the departure station.
